It’s been a few months since I have written concerning Lauren and the Charity Fund.
Incredibly the Fund through Just Giving has risen to £51,623 supporting Scleroderma & Reynauds UK.
I have a number of collections lined up for Tesco’s in Caister-on-sea this year to add to the total hopefully.
My cousin Marc Evans is running the London Marathon this year in Lauren’s name for SRUK which is amazing and his fundraising is going really well.
We have another couple of money-raising things this year as well so looks very hopeful to improve the above amount further.
I heard an analogy the other day which sums up my thinking regards to Lauren, if your children get out the dreaded glitter to play with it often creates a large mess to clear up, you think you have got all the glitter swept up, but it still appears again year after year in the future taking you back to that play day. You think you are progressing with dealing with the terrible loss of losing your daughter then something happens to bring it all back again and upset you completely again.
I hope to keep adding to the total a little bit at a time and will keep you updated.
Very best wishes and thank you all.
Please take a look at Lauren’s website and donate if you can please www.lozzielockets.co.uk and her Facebook page Lozzie Lockets Charity Events for SRUK
