July 2022

Hi everyone, hope everyone is ok, just bringing you up to date following the amazing people who did the White Goods sponsored walk and some further superb donations our total now stands at £48,913, so we are near to our target of £50,000.

I have a date a Tesco’s on 20th August for a collection and a couple of other ideas to hopefully push us to our target, I would love you to help me push things over the line so if you can donate any amount that would be fantastic.

I have also been asked by Scleroderma & Reynauds UK to be a committee member representing Lauren in helping to choose a new Research Scientist who will be researching into Scleroderma this is following a very large donation from a lady, this is very exciting and a massive opportunity to help Scleroderma & Reynauds UK choose a suitable scientist. The committee is made up of a number of eminent scientists, a scleroderma patient and me, what an honour and privilege. Thank you for your continued support and I will keep you informed as things progress towards the £50,000 and the choosing of the new Research Scientist.

Please support us as much as possible and I will keep us up to date with regular blogs.

Another interview on Radio Norfolk reported on the amazing Fish & Chip dash which raised nearly £1800.00.

The amazing Victoria Rose-Smart completed her run in London raising further funds in Lauren’s name, an amazing lady.

Considering a music event also in the middle of the year 2022.

Other events are also being planned for next year so please keep an eye out.

With all our other efforts this year so far will be bringing you up to date with this year’s total raised in the next couple of months.

The total amount raised so far has now gone to £46,660. (Target £50,000)

I however have just signed up with my bank to “save the change” where if you use your Debit Card they round the amount up to the nearest pound and put it into a savings account, and I am putting some of that money into Lauren’s Fund. I know it’s relatively small but every penny counts these days. This easy way of saving has produced just over £190.00 so far.

Let’s hope for a gradual improvement in life going forward in the next months to come.
